Pheww... its been a whole 3 days.. no internet ... and I've been going stir crazy (I think I may have a slight addiction)... luckily I was able to steal a little wireless and a computer and hop on hear quickly just to post a few pics.
Saturday afternoon I was met at the Beziers train station by a car FULL (we're talking even the trunk) of some of my favorite Santa Barbara girls... we then drove through beautiful vineyards to our cute tiny little town called Puisserguier (btw none of us know how to pronounce it). Since then we've visited an extremely old Medievel town Minerve, went to an amazing market, and had some of the best food I've had in all my time in Europe (shhh... don't tell anyone else).
But the best part has been all the laughter... put 6 girls in a station wagon driving around the French countryside.. listening to HYSTERICAL french music... and having NO IDEA how to speak French and there's bound to be a lot of laughs.
One last thing... I have to mention... the gorgeous old aristicratic home with all the original antiques... imagine again the 6 of us with the run of the place... there's even its own private pub in the back of the center courtyard... words cannot explain how cool this place is.
Not sure if I'll be able to get back on here for a bit.. .the next tme you hear from me could be from France.. could be Spain... could be California... or could even be Mackinac!!
Wishing you all a week of sunshine, love and laughter!
Love,

Versailles (as Diana said.. and I agree).. is like a mini Paris... or what Paris used to look like way way back in the day.
It was neat to imagine what it would have been like centuries ago...
so, I've never been a HUGE fan of Paris.. its nice enough... always thought I could skip that city if I needed too. I spent about 4 days here ten years ago and thought... its lovely but that was about it ... well... this day... I fell in love... it just felt right and beautiful and just plain great to be wandering the streets... everything was just so artistic from the streets,to the buildings, to the clothes, to the food... and of course the art!!
It was a lovely day... very relaxing... and I got a few great shots. I am truly enjoying my travels. This trio is really less about seeing a bunch of sites running all over the place and all about visiting with long lost friends and stepping into their world for just a moment. Luxembourg was surely no different... by the time we were walking home I could see how Emily & Gerry have made this place their home.
Now... its off to Paris to meet up with Diana... I am so excited to see her perform (she's an AMAZING opera singer)... how cool is that ;)
