Welcome to the photo blog... *finallogowhite25.jpg
Here's where I chat about photography (SURPRISE)...  weddings (of course)... helpful ideas I hear about...  and cool things I find along the way.

Things you can expect from me...
Laughter (I write how I talk if you haven't noticed.. :)
Advice (I don't claim to be an expert...but I do claim to hear expert ideas and share them)
    Stories (but only good ones)
Contests (gotta keep you guessing somehow..)
Cheers (meaning good wishes to good people I meet)
... and a little bit bit of babbling (but hopefully always ending with a big laugh)

While this blog may not be perfect in color, shape, or words . . . I promise, it'll all be written from the heart! More than anything else... I hope that you have fun, get inspired, enjoy reading and maybe even gain a little knowledge along the way (that I'm not promising though)...

I'm so glad you've somehow navigated your way here.  Now... don't forget to bookmark it..  and come back and visit again!!

Love,
A

This past Sunday I had the great great pleasure to be a part of such a sweet ceremony and carriage ride.  Sarah had contacted me months ago and since then we've chatted over email time adn time again... I felt I knew her before we ever met... so when we met up the morning before their wedding we talked about the wedding... and everything else in life!

Again... this one was at the Grand Hotel... with the amazing Marty... and beautiful flowers done by the hotel's own flower shop Margret's Garden.

Although I had to huff and puff biking up hill chasing their carriage (first one of the season... I was COMPLETELY out of practice).. it was totally worth it.  Most the time the carriage rides are my favorite part of the day... its when the couple relaxes and soaks in the moment... the most laughter, and tenderness... I love it!

Plus I got to see Sarah scrunch her nose...  and how Andrew's face would light up everytime she did!!

Sarah & Andrew... have so much fun in life together,  I know you will ... the two of you have such a strong bond that the world can only try to understand and I feel honored to have seen just a glimpse of it!!

Love,
A

Okay... so I've been a little slack at the blogging since I've returned from Europe...  well.. I'm back and on the island...

Aggie & Deric were married this past Saturday and what an amazing way to kick off my island wedding season... they are so beautiful and super  super fun ... REALLY...  I don't know if its becuase they were so cool or because I'm a little crazy but SOMEHOW... Aggie's mother ended up with my camera running around like a kid shooting pics...  I may ask her to help me more often... if nothing else for the pure entertainment factor.

It was so great to be back at The Grand Hotel... I just love this place sooo beautiful and Marty Haines (their amazing wedding coordinator) is the best!!  Everywhere you look there is a place for a pic.

Aggie & Deric... it was such an incredible joy to meet the two of you and be a part of your family for a quick moment!!  I wish you both a lifetime of laughter and love... I know you'll be laughing A LOT!!

Love,
A

Pheww...  its been a whole 3 days.. no internet ... and I've been going stir crazy (I think I may have a slight addiction)...  luckily I was able to steal a little wireless and a computer and hop on hear quickly just to post a few pics.

Saturday afternoon I was met at the Beziers train station by a car FULL (we're talking even the trunk) of some of my favorite Santa Barbara girls... we then drove through beautiful vineyards to our cute tiny little town called Puisserguier (btw none of us know how to pronounce it). Since then we've visited an extremely old Medievel town Minerve, went to an amazing market, and had some of the best food I've had in all my time in Europe (shhh... don't tell anyone else).

But the best part has been all the laughter... put 6 girls in a station wagon driving around the French countryside.. listening to HYSTERICAL french music... and having NO IDEA how to speak French and there's bound to be a lot of laughs.

One last thing... I have to mention... the gorgeous old aristicratic home with all the original antiques... imagine again the 6 of us with the run of the place... there's even its own private pub in the back of the center courtyard... words cannot explain how cool this place is.

Not sure if I'll be able to get back on here for a bit.. .the next tme you hear from me could be from France.. could be Spain... could be California... or could even be Mackinac!!

Wishing you all a week of sunshine, love and laughter!

Love,

A
